Tenufa Bakehila operates in 22 municipalities across Israel, in close partnership with local authorities\u2014from Hatzor HaGlilit in the north to Sderot and Kiryat Gat in the south. <\/span><\/p>\n

Guided by<\/span> our vision <\/span>to eliminate <\/span>housing poverty <\/span>nationwide<\/span>, <\/span>we set annual goals to expand our reach and begin operations in new cities each year.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In recent years, we\u2019ve extended our work to Shlomi, Tel Aviv, Rishon LeZion, and Bat Yam, and launched a pilot project in Be\u2019er Sheva.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sadly, housing poverty affects every city in Israel\u2014no community is untouched, and every one of them needs our services.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tenufa Bakehila is the only organization in Israel solely dedicated to systematically addressing housing poverty on a national scale, through, focused, large-scale, and sustainable action.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To ensure high-quality, large-scale, and lasting impact, <\/span>Tenufa Bakehila employs full-time, salaried repair professionals<\/b> who work year-round. This unique and sustainable model enables us to renovate <\/span>over 600 homes annually<\/b> across Israel.<\/span><\/p>

Our repair teams encounter powerful <\/span>and heartbreaking <\/span>stories every day: children living in crumbling homes, too ashamed to invite friends over; a grandmother raising her two granddaughters, all sleeping in the living room <\/span>after<\/span> the bedroom ceiling collapsed; a single mother whose broken doors <\/span>are painful reminders<\/span> of <\/span>past <\/span>domestic violence.<\/span><\/p>
